Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall will reveal the Golden Globes nominations for the 83rd Annual ceremony on Monday, December 8, 2025. The Globes organization announced that all 28 categories will be announced at 8:15 a.m. ET / 5:15 a.m. PT on CBS News’ website, with 11 exclusive categories unveiled at 8:30 a.m. ET / 5:30 a.m. PT during CBS Mornings. Viewers can also watch the live reveal via CBS News’ YouTube channel and TikTok, and the complete list of nominees will be posted on the Golden Globes website immediately after the announcement. Additionally, the 83rd Annual Golden Globes will be hosted by Nikki Glaser, a comedian and actress with multiple nominations across Golden Globes, Grammys, and Emmys, and will broadcast on CBS on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 8–11 p.m. ET / 5–8 p.m. PT, with streaming available on Paramount+. The two presenters, Wayans and Marshall, will announce nominees across all 28 categories, including a newly added Best Podcast. Wayans has a long career spanning film, television, and stand-up, with domestic box office totals surpassing $736 million and over $1 billion worldwide. He is touring his “Wild Child” show and recently appeared in Jordan Peele’s Him from Monkeypaw Prods.; he is finishing production on Scary Movie 6 for Miramax and Paramount, which he wrote, produced, and stars in, slated for 2026. Marshall has built a film and TV career and currently stars opposite Kathy Bates in the CBS drama Matlock as Olympia Lawrence. She is known for Mambo Marie in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (parts three and four) and Kara Fowdy in The CW’s Black Lightning (seasons one and two). This year, voting is conducted by KPMG LLP, which returns as the official tabulator. The Globes will continue the practice of presenting six nominees in each category, except for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, which will feature eight. The film categories include Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Motion Picture – Animated, Non-English Language, and various acting, directing, screenplay, score, and song recognitions. Television categories cover Best Television Series in Drama and Musical/Comedy, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television, and numerous acting and comedy stand-up distinctions. A new Best Podcast category marks the Globes’ commitment to acknowledging podcasting as part of the broader entertainment landscape. Past presenters of nominations have included a wide range of notable actors and entertainers.
