O'Brien's letter underscores the importance of protecting Articles 19 and 26 of the Constitution, drawing a parallel with the farm laws that were later repealed. He warns against what he sees as 'cowboy legislation', urging the government to convene an all-party meeting before proceeding with the proposed amendments.
