Get ready for an exciting transformation at Six Flags Magic Mountain, as the park gears up to unveil Looney Tunes Land in 2026! This significant redesign of the beloved Bugs Bunny World family area promises a fresh and engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
As part of this reimagining, the area will be divided into four distinct zones, each inspired by iconic characters: Bugs Bunny, the Tasmanian Devil, Wile E. Coyote, and Daffy Duck. Park officials highlight that this overhaul will bring renewed attractions, innovative play areas, and extensive thematic enhancements throughout the land. The grand opening is expected in the summer of 2026, making it a highly anticipated addition.
At the core of Looney Tunes Land will be a charming central park, welcoming guests into Bugs Bunny's world. From here, guests can embark on adventures through various landscapes—traverse the arid New Mexico desert with Wile E. Coyote in pursuit of the speedy Road Runner, explore lush tropical environments alongside the mischievous Taz, or enjoy the breathtaking High Sierra scenery with Daffy Duck.
TAZ-MANIA
The section dedicated to the Tasmanian Devil will immerse visitors in a vibrant tropical atmosphere. The existing Whistlestop Train ride will be revamped and renamed Taz’s Tasmanian Train Tours, which will take guests on a whimsical journey through the zone. However, brace yourself—the Tasmanian Devil is on the loose and ready to cause some comic chaos along the route!
Additionally, a new attraction called Taz’s Exploration Trail will take the place of the previous Magic Flyer and Tweety’s Escape rides. This walk-through experience will feature interactive elements designed to engage guests, along with new seating areas and lush turf to enhance comfort and enjoyment.
ROAD RUNNER RIDGE
Drawing inspiration from the New Mexico desert, this area will center around Wile E. Coyote’s relentless chase of the Road Runner. Expect to see themed desert rockwork, ACME-inspired details, and a beautifully painted tunnel that captures the essence of classic animated cartoons, providing a nostalgic touch for fans.
BUGS BUNNY PLAY PARK
The Bugs Bunny-themed area, set to replace Speedy Gonzalez Hot Rods and Pepe Le Pew’s Tea Party, aims to create new spaces for free play and exploration. The Merrie Melodies Merrie-Go-Round will be refurbished with vibrant colors and updated signage, enhancing its appeal.
The dining experience will also receive a boost, with Wascal’s restaurant undergoing a makeover that includes new picnic-style seating and a refreshed exterior. Moreover, a new facade resembling Granny’s House will be introduced at the back of the restaurant, featuring an interior that guests can explore.
CAMP DUCK AMUCK
In the Daffy Duck-themed section, Taz’s Trucking Company will evolve into Daffy’s Forest Four-Wheelers, offering guests a thrilling ride in ranger-style vehicles. This High Sierra-inspired area will highlight updated scenery, character displays, and educational signage focusing on conservation and outdoor safety. Additionally, the Looney Tunes Lodge will be redesigned to resemble a cozy mountain cabin, complete with new flooring.
The family area’s transformation into Looney Tunes Land is set to commence in early January, right after the Holiday in the Park seasonal festivities. This development will unfold in three phases, ensuring that areas not under construction remain accessible to the public.
This exciting new land will debut alongside Six Flags’ 55th anniversary celebrations and is part of the company's broader initiative to enhance the park. This revitalization began with the comprehensive upgrade of Hurricane Harbor in 2025 and is part of a larger $1 billion investment over the next two years aimed at improving the overall guest experience.
