Play daily F1 Wordle game on Planet Sport

We are delighted to announce the launch of Sportword, the new game from Planet Sport which challenges you to guess F1 and other sports-related words in six attempts.

As you might have guessed, this is the Formula 1 version that we host here on PlanetF1, adding to our many other F1 quizzes that you already love.

We are busy building a new home for Sportword and all of our other sports games and quizzes, but in the meantime you can play the daily F1 game here, so please bookmark this page try the word today and come back tomorrow.

How to play

Simply put, you have six attempts to guess a five-letter word. There will be a clue for each to focus your mind a bit.

Type your first estimate then press Enter. Each tile will change color to indicate if the letter is in the correct position, elsewhere in the word, or does not appear at all. A green tile means the letter is in the correct position; an orange tile means the letter is elsewhere in the word; a gray tile means the letter is not in the word at all.

If you are having difficulty, you will see a hint button which becomes available from your fourth attempt. Click it to reveal a thumbnail, but note that this is only available to logged-in users.

You can also click Give Up if you’re really struggling and just want to get out of your misery. It’s not for the purists, but it’s nice to have the option!

As with all of our other F1 quizzes, we also have a leaderboard which ranks players based on the number of attempts and time taken to guess the correct word.

More Sportword Games

We will soon be launching Planet Sport Games where you can play all our sports quizzes, but football fans can play the daily game Football Sportword on Planet Football in the meantime.

We will soon launch rugby, rugby league and tennis versions as well, then in Planet Sport games you can play sub categories, for example F1 drivers from the 1990s. And logged in users will be able to play as many of these categories and words as they wish in a day.
